Murus SIPs are available in three panel core types; Polyurethane, Expanded Polystyrene (EPS), and Extruded Polystyrene (XPS), in a variety of thicknesses, R-values (R-16 to R-55), lengths and skin configurations. The most popular skin material is Oriented Strand Board (OSB). Murus OSB is SFI certified. FSC certified OSB is available as an option. Horizontal wiring chases are available in all foam core types. Murus SIPs have a Class 1 Fire Resistance Rating, the best available for combustible materials.

Murus Polyurethane (PUR) SIPs have the highest R-values per inch of thickness of all Murus panel offerings. Murus Polyurethane foam does not contain any ozone-depleting compounds and is safe for humans and the environment. Murus PUR SIPs are ENERGY STAR qualified and are ideal for Green building projects. The Murus PUR SIP has a tongue and groove edge profile and is available with a unique, patented cam-lock joining system that saves installation time and aids in providing a positive seal and proper alignment of the panels.

Murus EPS SIPs are a high quality, competitively priced alternative to conventional construction. Murus EPS SIPs are ENERGY STAR qualified, and the EPS foam core does not contain any ozone-depleting compounds. Typical panel-to-panel connection is achieved through the use of plywood key splines.

Murus XPS SIPs provide outstanding insulating properties with superior R-values per inch of thickness over EPS. Murus XPS foam is virtually impervious to water and moisture penetration. With higher densities and compressive strengths, XPS foam provides structural strength and integrity, making Murus XPS SIPs an excellent choice for commercial construction projects. As with Murus EPS SIPs, XPS SIPs are joined using a key spline system.

Murus provides support and technical information to professional specifiers on product specifications and related construction structural capabilities, connections and fastening requirements. Automated factory CNC pre-cutting services are available and include pre-cut installation drawings. Factory trained and experienced personnel are available for jobsite consultation or technical assistance to professional crews with respect to the proper installation of Murus SIPs.
