The NAHB Research Center wants to encourage remodeling contractors to identify and sell energy improvements during major home improvement projects. As part of this effort, they have prepared 12 fact sheets--titled Energy Efficiency in Remodeling--detailing the opportunities for energy upgrades. They encourage contractors and other organizations to offer the fact sheets to home owners as they plan projects.

Funding for development and distribution came from the U.S. Department of Energy, the National Renewable Energy Laboratory and Certainteed Corporation.
